I love to look at notebooks,
And I try to never buy.
Since I'm afraid I'll ruin them,
They'd stay on shelves to die.
The paper will turn brittle,
The covers soon will tear.
I guess either way, if used or not,
They end in disrepair.
So maybe I should scribble,
Rip out pages, and revise.
Though I'll buy them sparingly,
Or make my own to try.
