Still Loved

on

Bear the painstaking ache

Of heart shredded, frayed.

And reconstruct the scraps,

Intending to rehabilitate.

It may be so, a simple task.

Scars are showcased prominently.

And though the heart is damaged,

It is deeply loved so strongly.
