From Soil to Cosmic Dust

Eat the marrow from my bones, And return me to the earth. Below the ridged surface, I’m tickled by the stringy roots Of flora flourished lake banks. An endless dream anchored down Deep within the fresh clay. I hope to once more see the stars, Then join them the next time around. Once reborn from rich soil, Then again from cosmic dust.

Glassmith

A cut hand on glass. Stinging shoots through untrained palm. Blood stops through practice.

Hike

Hike through the forest, Up to windy mountain peaks. Town below so small.

Twisted

Grassy sky and plains of clouds. Molded lakes and fluid mountains. Drafty trees while winds are bound, Leaves puddled, flow as fountains. Whispers screaming in the sun. Moonlight blinding restless eye. Roots reach up and petals run, Once calm sands electrify.

Dead Weeds

Petty jealous seed. Sprouting mistrust simply fine. Dead weeds bring no hope.

Killer

A scream from the dark. I see her eyes around me. Nails around my throat.

Daisies

Dreaming of daisies. Thriving in the summer sun. While I melt away.

Strange Magic

Cry your sweet tears plenty. Drop them gently in a jar. Stir them into coffee black, With tastes of a cigar. Forget the forgotten promise, The coward that you knew. Strange bits of magic, Won’t bring him home to you.

As I Long for Standstill

So many times, The clock must tick. Never stopping, Marching on, Shooting arrows Through my chest As I long for standstill, Just for a little while. Denied by the ticking. So many times.

Dark Well

So cold inside, Drunken heart, And fallen soul. Bitter sights to Scrub clean. While trembling Hand rushes to meet Steadfast intent. Whirlwind pace of Trickery; lacking, then Drowning solely In the dark well.
