About

Andi Leigh (they/she) is a queer & neurodivergent Filipino-American poet, novelist, short story writer, and visual artist from Western Massachusetts. They were born in Cambridge, England.

Andi is a lover of the written word and has a fondness for chapbooks, zines, literary magazines, and indie publishing. They started their self-publishing journey in 2016. Since then they have published many works such as poetry chapbooks, short fiction chapbooks, full-length poetry collections, picture books, novelettes, novellas, and a novel.

Andi's poetry has been featured in publications such as Reflections Literary and Arts Magazine from Prince George's Community College and the first print edition of Midsummer Dream House. They have two chapbooks published with Bottlecap Press.

In 2025, Andi founded Oatleaf Poetry, a not-for-profit online poetry journal that published forty-seven poems and five poet interviews across ten micro issues. Oatleaf nominated six poets for the Pushcart Prize in 2025 and awarded one poet their annual in-house poetry award. Oatleaf Poetry is currently open for submissions.

In June of 2026, they published the first issue of their ongoing ezine series, Dead Kiwi, which features a mix of poetry, micro fiction, hand drawn digital art, and photography.

Andi has written and published more than 1,400 poems and aims to pen many more.

They also enjoy drawing cartoons and comics, painting abstract art, and photographing nature and still life scenes.
